Routers & Firewalls

Routers & Firewalls covers network hardware that directs traffic between your devices and the internet, and gateways that add VPN and security features on top of basic routing. This category currently includes four items from the Networking and TP-Link brands, ranging from a compact wireless travel router and a small wireless N nano router to two Omada VPN gateways with Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit ports, one of which adds 4G+ cellular backup and PoE+ ports. These products suit home users who want stronger control over their connection, small offices that need VPN access, and travellers who want a private network on the go. To choose, start with how many devices you need to connect, whether you need wired ports or Wi-Fi 6, if you require VPN support, and whether you need a portable unit or a fixed one. Check the listing details for speed and port specifications before you buy.
