Panels & Keypads

The Panels & Keypads category groups the control units and keypads that run a security or alarm system. A control panel is the central unit that manages zones, arming and disarming, and alerts, while a keypad is the interface people use to operate it. This category currently features five items, all from the DSC brand, including full kits that bundle a panel with a keypad, siren, and cabinet, as well as standalone panels and a dedicated LCD keypad. This section suits homeowners and small business owners setting up or upgrading an alarm system, as well as installers who want a compatible control unit. When choosing, check the number of zones the panel supports, whether a keypad is included or needs to be bought separately, and the cabinet size. Kits are useful for a complete start, while standalone panels or keypads suit adding to an existing DSC system.
